Anders Andersen-Lundby (1841-1923) was a Danish painter renowned for his evocative winter landscapes. Born in Lundby, Denmark, he initially trained as a house painter before pursuing his passion for fine arts. He moved to Copenhagen in 1861, where he studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His early works were influenced by the Danish Golden Age of painting, characterized by detailed and realistic landscapes.

Lundby is best known for his winter scenes, capturing the serene beauty of snow-covered landscapes. His paintings often depict rural settings with trees blanketed in snow, quiet village scenes, and frozen lakes.
