About the artist

Otto Pippel (1878-1960) was a distinguished German Impressionist painter known for his vibrant landscapes, cityscapes, and depictions of domestic life. Born in Lódz, Poland, Pippel later moved to Germany, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe under the guidance of landscape painter Gustav Schönleber.
